Pay Rs 2,000 dole per month: AIYF
Students under the banner of All India Youth Federation staged a dharna at PB Siddhartha College here on Thursday, demanding that the government pay a sum of Rs 2,000 for the unemployed youth as assured by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during elections. They urged him to sanction the dole to the unemployed from SSC to PG.

They urged him to sanction the dole to the unemployed from SSC to PG.
Addressing the gathering, the AIYF Vijayawada city president, Md Moinuddin urged the Chief Minister to keep his election promise and extend a helping hand to them. He said that the previously given Rs. 1,500 would not be sufficient for the unemployed. Moinuddin threatened to continue the agitation if the government fails to comply.
Later, the AIYF leaders submitted a memorandum to the district youth welfare officer, R Yugandhar.
