Kakinada: The Superintendent of Government General Hospital Dr Raghavendra Rao told the kids learning karate that they can raise not only the self-confidence but also improve their health with karate.

He distributed the medals and appreciation certificates at the Boat Club Park on Thursday to all those karate kids who recently won the Ninth International Karate Championships held at Nidadavolu.

Speaking on the occasion, Raghavendra Rao said that learning Karate would help in improving self-confidence.

The Karate coach, Surya informed that their students bagged three gold, four silver and seven bronze medals in the karate championships. He further said that Karate learners from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan participated in the tournament.
Boat Club Walkers’ Association president Adabala Ratna Prasad and others participated.
