Mahila Kalasala students hailed for success in contests
Students of Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala bagged prizes for their environment-friendly entries in different national and intercollegiate competitions, according to the college principal Dr T Vijaya Lakshmi.

In a press statement issued here on Wednesday, she congratulated Ch Jahnavi for securing second place in the flowers rangoli event at the 36th National Rose Show organised here recently. The principal also patted G Harika for winning the third prize, Lalitambika and Sukanya for winning consolation prizes. The show was a collaborative effort by the Harita Priya Plant Lovers Association, the Rose Society of AP and the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation.
The principal also hailed P Sindhu Manasa and S Preeti’s team for winning the first prize in Innovative Science Talent Test organised by Guntur-based TJPS College. The principal praised E Priyanka, M Hemalatha, B Grace, P Sindhu Manasa, S Anjali and TV Pavani of Eco Club that participated in Innovative Live Science Project competitions organised by Gora Science Centre.
