Students take out rally on National Voters Day
The students of the MRK Zilla Parishad High School of Veeravasaram took out a rally in Veeravasaram on National Voters Day on Thursday.
Bhimavaram: The students of the MRK Zilla Parishad High School of Veeravasaram took out a rally in Veeravasaram on National Voters Day on Thursday.
Sarpanch Peethala Victoria Maharani at the ZP School flagged off the rally. “Everyone should register their vote. Each vote is important in a democracy,” she said. She administered an oath to the students on the occasion. The school Head Mistress, Prabha Manjari, teachers Maddala Tata Rao, L Sai Srinivas, Pampana Saibabu, Ravada Simhadri, Y Venkateswara Rao, K Veeraswamy, P Sujatha and A Goindarajulu participated in the programme.
The Rally passed on through main fares of the village and students raised slogans creating awareness on the importance of vote and requested the people to cast their votes without fear.
