Collector learns of grievance, tells officials to resolve immediately
Prakasam District Collector Vadarevu Vinaychand, ordered the district officials to immediately redress the applications received in the grievance cell on every Monday. He participated in the grievance cell on Monday along with the Joint Collector, S Nagalakshmi, Additional Joint Collector D Markandeyulu and DRO Dr N Prabhakara Reddy and received applications from the public all over the district.

The people from various places in the district waited before the CPO conference hall for hours to meet the officials and explain their struggles to settle the issues through government. Many people submitted applications requesting the district administration to help them in settling land disputes, extend government welfare schemes likes pensions, insurances, individual household latrines etc. The Collector ordered the concerned officials to look into them immediately and redress them accordingly.
ZP CEO Kailas Gireeswar, DRDA PD Murali, DWMA PD Polappa, Housing PD Srinivasa Rao, APMIP PD Ravindra Babu, ICDS PD Sarojini, DEO Subbarao, Minorities Corporation ED Sirazuddin, RWS SE Sanjeeva Reddy and other officials also participated in the grievance meeting.
