Kandukuru: The Prakasam Engineering College in Kandukuru has started the skill development training for the Residential Junior College girls from Dupadu in association with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation and Siemens Skill Development Center, announced the college correspondent, Kancharla Ramaiah.

Ramaiah inaugurated the 10-day Siemens Training Programme by the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation for the 75 girls selected from the Residential Junior College from Dupadu. He said that technology had reached the high school and Intermediate education with the help of the technology giants like Siemens.

He advised them to utilise the resources made available to them and achieve big things. He asked them to start questioning and get answers from the instructors and appreciated them for participating in the training programme which could help them face unemployment problem.

Mastan Vali and Sameer, trainers of the programme said that the selected girls were trained on computers and home appliances maintenance by the corporation.
Dr M Lakshmana Rao, the college principal, Pavitra, commerce lecturer in the Residential Junior College for Girls at Dupadu, Siemens Training Centre in-charge G Sai Krishna also participated in the programme.
