Flays Congress and BJP for sending corrupt leaders to the legislative bodies Hyderabad: Coming down heavily on the Congress and BJP party over the corruption issues, CPI General Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy said that the two parties are the two sides of same coin. With the legislative bodies being sufficiently occupied by the people who were either corrupt or enjoyed a corporate background, there was hardly any space left for people with genuine concern for people to contest, he said. Speaking at a seminar on the role of Puchalapalli Sundaraiah in Communist Movement organised as part of his birth centenary, he said that the great leader had fought for the cause of labour and deprived classess. Sundaraiah was a leader of rare quality and he used to raise public issues only after studying it a deeply with total commitment, Sudhakar Reddy said. He flayed the Congress and the BJP for ignoring values and sending corrupt people to legislative bodies due to which so many scams took place. The CPM state secretary B V Raghavulu, who presided over the seminar, sought the centre to desist from adopting corrupt policies.
