Nageshwar stages protest at Bus Bhavan

Hyderabad: MLC Nageshwar on Monday staged a deeksha in front of Bus Bhavan near RTC X Roads. He took up the deeksha against RTC management's failure in setting up drinking water facilities in bus stations across the State. Pointing out that an amount of Rs 50 lakh was allocated for this purpose, Nageshwar questioned the laxity on part of the officials to take necessary steps. However, within two hours after the MLC began his deeksha, Transport Minister Botcha Satyanarayana spoke to him over the phone and gave an assurance that the works would be taken up immediately. Following the assurance given by Botcha, Nageshwar called off the protest.
