Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday took strong exception to PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana's comments that Bayyaram iron ore was of poor quality. He demanded that the PCC chief should apologise for trying to deceive people of Telangana.
He was addressing a meeting at TRS Bhavan after former ZPTC member from Khanapur (Warangal) along with his followers joined the party. KCR alleged that the PCC chief was indulging in 'mindless talk'. "Why was Botcha evincing interest in shifting Bayyaram steel to Vizag steel plant, if it lacks quality," he questioned.
KCR also sought the government to withdraw its GO allocating Bayyaram iron ore to Vizag steel plant. Telangana people should desist from giving a single vote to the Chief Minister for his statement that he would not give a single penny for Telangana region, he said and suggested that even the Congress should not be given a single seat.
