Hyderabad: Former minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) senior leader Naini Narsimha Reddy dared Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu to contest from Hyderabad and secure a victory. While addressing the 'Gadapa Gadapaku Telangana' programme at Manikeshwar Nagar near Osmania University on Sunday, Naini pointed out that support for Telangana statehood had grown by leaps and bounds in Hyderabad in the last three years. "Fence sitting parties like TDP will be taught a fitting lesson by the Telangana public," he remarked. The TRS leader predicted that his party would secure a good number of seats in the next general elections. Naini Narsimha Reddy, T Harish Rao and Secunderabad TRS incharge T Padma Rao went around the area and impressed upon the locals the need to strengthen the pro-Telangana party. Meanwhile, Harish Rao stated that Kiran Kumar's government, which burdened the public with the hike in power tariff, would face the wrath of public in the next general elections.
