Work for people, not for posts: Babu

Kakinada: Telugu Desam party president N Chandrababu Naidu exhorted party activists to strive for solving the problems of people not for positions.A Addressing the party workers of Rampachodavaram and Prattipadu assembly constituencies at Nellipudi in East Godavari district Chandrababu said that he was proud that the cadre remained with the party though the leaders left the party.

Garlanding the photograph of Babu Jagjivan Ram in connection with his 106th birthday celebrations, he paid rich tributes to the former deputy prime minister of India.A Chandrababu called upon the party workers to resolve problems amicably and work united for the victory of the party in the next elections.

So far, Chandrababu had met the party workers of 18 assembly constituencies. Chinta Venkata Ramaiah of Kothapet along with 150 followers joined Telugu Desam party in the presence of the party president.

A woman activist lamented that her husband was bedridden due to the belt shops. Reacting to the incident, Chandrababu said that the party would certainly come to the rescue of women. After coming to power, the TDP would remove all belt shops, he said.

Chandrababu told the party workers to highlight the corruption of Congress and YSR Congress parties and strive for the victory of the party.Chandrababu said that the Congress was a commercial party. He said that the Telugu Desam party is the only party in the world with a large base of cadre.
