JP on coastal Andhra tour from today

Dr Jayaprakash Narayan, president of the Lok Satta Party, would be touring Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, Prakasam and Guntur districts from November 4 to 8 to participate in the meetings organized by several organizations and Lok Satta Party over farmers’ problems, education, local governance, healthcare and other issues.

On November 4 and 5, JP would be touring in the flood-affected areas of Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam. On November 6, he would be attending a farmers’ round-table meeting organized by the Federation of Independent Farmers, on the topic ‘Agriculture in crisis- Government policies and dangers to ecosystem’.

On November 7, he would be attending the birth anniversary celebrations of Acharya N G Ranga at Ranga Bhavan, Ongole, which would be concluded at a public meeting on the same day.

On November 8, he would be participating in a round-table meeting being organized by Sthanika Prabhutvala Sadhikarata Samakhya at Guntur, on the topic ‘Panchayats as local Governments, for achieving governance at the doorstep and in front of the eyes,’ which would be concluded at a public meeting.
