Later, former minister Farookh presided over the Muslim Minority Conference at the party office and flayed the Congress and YSR Congress party for colluding in dividing the State.
District TDP president Somisetty Venkateswarlu said that voting for YSR Congress meant voting for Congress in the next general elections. He said that the development achieved by the former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, has gone waste due to these two parties. He said that the TDP was the only party which would do justice to the Muslim minorities.
Farookh said that there would be umpteen problems if the State was divided. “The Congress has not come out with the solutions to the problems,” he pointed out. He said that it was not clear how the Wakf Board properties would be distributed among the proposed two States.
