The TRS chief KCR's son and party leader K Taraka Rama Rao slammed the remarks made by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy that the danger of Naxalites will grow manifold if the state is bifurcated on Monday.

KTR said that he is prepared for a public debate on the report submitted by the Chief Minister to the GoM.
Talking to reporters in Hyderabad on Monday evening , he hit out at the Chief Minister for trying to create fear among the people of both the regions, by stating that disputes linked to irrigation water sharing will crop up. He cited Indo-Pak relations as an example. He said sharing of river waters has been made possible between the two countries despite India and Pakistan having fought wars.
He said that the Chief Minister has to take the responsibility for any consequence if the Centre yields to his letter on keeping the state united and goes back on implementing Congress Working Committee’s decision.
Meanwhile, TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram also slammed the Chief Minister for talking about Naxalite activity and its consequences also spreading false news about the problems of employees which will increase with the proposed bifurcation of the state. He also demanded that Chief minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy quit his post.
