Hyderabad: Snake scare haunted the State Assembly on Wednesday. A 3-foot snake entered the Assembly premises and was seen slithering away, leaving the Assembly staff and all those who were present on the Assembly premises in a state of panic for some time. The visitors alerted the staff when they noticed the snake. An Assembly official, however, caught the snake with the help of a stick and put it in a glass bottle.
Later, the officials called an NGO, which protects reptiles, and handed over the snake to its representatives. It was the second incident in last one week when a snake was found on the Assembly premises.
