Faculty Member of Acharya Nagarjuna University Accused. In her complaint with the police, a female student of second year of engineering of the University Engineering college has alleged that the accused had been seeking sexual favour and harassing her for quite some time.

On receiving a complaint from an Engineering student Acharya Nagarjuna University College of Engineering, an assistant professor has been inquired by the police of his sexual misconduct with the complainer. R.R.L. Kantham, the Registrar of ANU said a three-member inquiry committee had been set-up and based on the report an action will be initiated on the accused faculty member, accordingly.
In her complaint with the police, a female student of second year of engineering of the University Engineering college has alleged that the accused had been seeking sexual favour and harassing her for quite some time.

According to the Resitrar, the three member committee consists of Principal of Arts College, Madhusudana Rao, in charge of Grievance Redressal Cell, N. Jaisree and the warden of the women’s hostel, Swaroopa Rani.
They have been ordered to enquire into the episode and submit a report.
