Hyderabad: BJP State unit has sounded poll bugle for general elections due next year by finalising the names of in-charges, conveners and co-conveners for all parliamentary constituencies besides formulating poll strategies. BJP chief G Kishan Reddy chaired a key meeting at State office here on Wednesday that was attended by office bearers and presidents of all 23 district units.
The marathon meeting zeroed in on in-charges, conveners and co-conveners for 42 parliamentary constituencies in the State.
This list would be announced in a day or two, according to party sources. It also decided to convene a meeting next week to shortlist names of in-charges for 294 Assembly constituencies. Meanwhile, BJP national executive member Somu Veeraju from Seemandhra region dismissed the talk of any possible tie up with Telugu Desam Party in the
future.
