Aruna hands over 2,300 Deepam sanction letters

Gadwal: The State Government is functioning with the sole objective of achieving development, Information and Public Relations Minister D K Aruna asserted here on Saturday.

Speaking after handing over Deepam sanction letters and gas stoves to 2,300 residents of Dharur mandal, she said so far 4,355 Deepam connections were given in the mandal, which was not done in the past. She listed their number in the last four years as 777, 500, 775 and 2,300 respectively. The Minister assured the gathering that the balance of five per cent of the Nettampadu project would be completed shortly.

Launches drinking water treatment plants Later launching drinking water treatment plants set up by Smart India at Old bus stand, Krishnaveni Chowk and Nallakunta in the town, Aruna urged the firm to establish more such plants for the benefit of people. She praised Smart India for winning people’s laurels by ensuring water supply to commercial, industrial, domestic and institutional consumers.
