It is evident that Sukesh has been facing the allegations of not paying dues amounting rupees 195 crore.

Hyderabad: The proprietor of MBS Jewelers, Sukesh Gupta has been detained by the CBI officials and has been interrogated on Friday. It is evident that Sukesh has been facing the allegations of not paying dues amounting rupees 195 crore. He has been interrogated since Thursday night. A case has been filed on Sukesh early this year in January; the case has been registered under IPC section 420 & 409. Also, a few officials of MMTC (Minerals and Mines Trading Corporation) have also been detained by the CBI in this case for their extending support to Sukesh in this racket.
CBI carried out a raid at their homes and offices and gathered evidences that a fraud worth 100 crores has taken place. CBI has concluded that the government experienced a loss of 100crore rupees in this scam.
MBS jewelers befooled MMTC in its gold purchases. They have vomited tax worth rupees 194 crores to the MMTC department. CBI has registered a case under sections 420, 471, 447A along with sections 13(2), 13 (1) (d) under anti corruption act.
