Hyderabad: With the GHMEU’s call for the strike, all the sanitary work remains unattended in the twin cities from Friday. The officials of GHMC had made a promise with the employees that their demands will be materialized by the end of December this year. But they failed to keep their promise up.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipality Employees’ Union said that the authorities forced them to go on strike with their reckless attitude of not giving an ear to their problems.
As per them, their demands are to hike the pay for outsourcing employees to 16,500/-, apart from issuing health cards to all the GHMC employees. With their strike, now, the sanitary component of twin cities needs an immediate attention.
