President hosts ‘At Home’
President hosts ‘At Home’, President Pranab Mukherjee, New Year greetings to Pranab. Jayaprakash Narayan and CPI state secretary K Narayana. Senior media persons were also invited for the event.
Hyderabad: President Pranab Mukherjee hosted ‘At Home’ function in Rashtrapati Nilayam on Monday evening. It marked the culmination of his 10-day southern sojourn that witnessed hectic political activity. The dignitaries who took part in the function extended him New Year greetings well in advance.
During the function, the President met Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar and Council Chairman A Chakrapani, besides Union Ministers Kavuri Sambhasiva Rao, D Purandareswari, K Chiranjeevi, Lok Satta national president
Jayaprakash Narayan and CPI state secretary K Narayana. Senior media persons were also invited for the event.
Flute Maestro Dr Jayaprada Ramamurthy and Kuchipudi dance exponent Dr Yashoda Thakore held the gathering spellbound with their performances thus making the evening special for the participants. The president felicitated both of them on the occasion.
