Apart from APNGOs’ president Ashok Babu, prominent leaders of Seemandhra region like Ganta Sreenivasa Rao, Erasu Pratap Reddy, CM Ramesh, Lagadapati Rajagopal attended the dharna. The media people were restrained by the police. It led for an argument between the police and the media personnel.
While addressing the gathering, Paruchuri Ashok Babu said the common capital mentioned in the Telangana draft bill would make the state a kingdom without the king. He mentioned the case of Delhi and Kejriwal to support his statement. Ashok Babu viewed the union of all political parties for the sake of united Andhra Pradesh as a good omen.
