It is learnt that the local cadre is against Sarve Satyanaryana for his candidature for Malkajgiri MP Constituency in 2014 general elections. According to the sources, the former minister in the state assembly, Shankar Rao and MLA of Uppal constituency, Raja Reddy have reportedly written a letter to the congress high command stating that Sarve has been encouraging dishonesty and group politics. However, Sarve has iterated that he would contest from Malkajgiri constituency only in 2014 general elections. It is worth mentioning here that Sarve has already expressed his interest of working under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi many times.
