Motkupalli angry over Naidu's snub, to quit TDP?

As expected and reported earlier, TDP senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu is disappointed as his desire to move on to the Rajya Sabha may remains unfulfilled.

We reported earlier that Motkupalli had restricted himself to the confines of his home and also skipped several Assembly sessions earlier. Motkupalli had on many occasions stated that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu had assured him a RS seat. However, with Chandrababu finalising the names of Garikapati Mohana Rao and T Sitaramalakshmi as TDP candidates for RS election, his dreams were shattered.

When Chandrababu refused to accept Motkupalli's claims to be nominated for the Upper House, he left the meeting in a huff.

Now, Motkupalli's anger has reached its peak and sources in the TDP say that the latter has sent feelers to the partymen that he doesn't have an inclination to work under Chandrababu's leadership anymore. It is learnt that he will meet his supporters in Nalgonda district to decide his furture course of action.

Motkupalli is expected to make an announcement to this effect in a press conference to be held this evening. Soon as this news spread, several TDP leaders including Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Ramana paid Motkupalli a visit at his home and in an effort to console him.
