HYDERABAD: Turmoil in the Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly continued for the second day on Tuesday as legislators from Telangana region stormed the Speaker's podium and raised slogans against chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.

At the same time, Opposition members from Seemandhra region too went into the Well, demanding that the Speaker place the notices issued by the chief minister and others under Rule 77 before the House for consideration.

Though they did not troop into the Well, ministers from Telangana stood at their respective seats and raised slogans against the chief inister.

Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the proceedings for an hour amidst the din.

The chief minister had issued a notice to the Speaker on Saturday seeking to move a resolution in the assembly for returning the AP Reorganisation Bill-2013 to the Centre as it was incomprehensible.

The Telangana side strongly opposed this and demanded that the CM withdraw the notice.

The assembly could not transact any business on Monday because of the pandemonium caused by ministers and MLAs from Telangana.

They vowed not to let the House function till the move to introduce the resolution was either withdrawn by the CM or rejected by the Speaker.
