Samaikyandhra Slogan For Protecting Self-Interests. Samajika Telangana Andhra Rayalaseema Co-ordination Forum charged the Seemandhra leaders of rooting for ‘Samaikyandhra’ cause just to protect their interests.
Hyderabad: Samajika Telangana Andhra Rayalaseema Co-ordination Forum charged the Seemandhra leaders of rooting for ‘Samaikyandhra’ cause just to protect their interests. Welcoming the formation of Telangana State, the Forum observed that the backward Rayalaseema region could also be made a separate State for its overall development. The organisation comprising bahujan leaders from both regions organised a seminar on views of people belonging to three regions on the AP Reorganisation Bill at Basheerbagh Press Club on Friday.
Forum coordinator U Sambasiva Rao observed that Telangana movement was not against the general public of Seemandhra region, but only against few Seemandhra sections that had exploited their region for decades together. Senior JournalistTankasala Ashok observed that politicians of Seemandhra and Telangana regions did severe injustice to their respective regions for the last six years. Contradicting claims of Seemandhra sections over development of Hyderabad, TPF vice-president Vedakumar stated that more than 2,000 slums exist in Hyderabad alone.
