Hyderabad: Rayapati Samba Siva Rao, the expelled MP of Congress Party on Thursday said that Kiran Kumar Reddy will float a new party along with the six suspended MPs.
He addressed the media in Guntur and said the party would clutch more number of seats in the looming general elections. He said they strived hard to keep the state united. However, said Rayapati, Congress Party has acted in a reckless manner as far as state bifurcation was concerned.
From the other end, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy who resigned from all his posts and also quit the Congress party in protest against the Centre's decision to bifurcate the state disappointed his supporters on Wednesday.
It's a known fact that Kiran addressed the Samikyandhra JAC students in Madhapur and people were expecting him to make an announcement on his new political outfit which has been a hot talk in political circles ever since Kiran bid adieu to Congress.
Kiran no doubt fired the Congress party and slammed his detractors for their inability to raise their voice against the division of state.
However, he concluded his speech with the slogan Jai Samaikyandhra when the crowd was actually looking forward to a dramatic end to his speech with the announcement of his new party.
