MMTS Real Time App Gaining Popularity. With an overwhelming response to the recently launched ‘HYLITES’ (Hyderabad Live Train Enquiry System), the South Central Railway (SCR) added more user-friendly features to Android based smart phone app on Indian Railways.

Hyderabad: With an overwhelming response to the recently launched ‘HYLITES’ (Hyderabad Live Train Enquiry System), the South Central Railway (SCR) added more user-friendly features to Android based smart phone app on Indian Railways. Just three weeks into the launch of ‘HYLITES’, 1,85,000 persons viewed the site seeking information and for real time information on the running of MMTS trains in the twin cities. Now SCR has incorporated a feedback option to enable users to send suggestions and created an exclusive e-mail ID scrmmtslive@gmail. com.
SCR general manager PK Srivastava released the first upgraded app ‘HYLITES’ -version 1.1 at Rail Nilayam on Monday. The latest app version is now compatible with smart phones/devices having smaller resolution like 240 x 320. Hindi and Telugu language versions have been added to various items in the MMTS live status menu page. The ‘HYLITES’ app disseminates information on the real time running position of all the 121 MMTS trains across 26 stations; live status of arrival / departure timings (with platform numbers) trains at Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Kacheguda railway stations.
