Brawl in Gandhi hospital

Hyderabad: The disputes and fight between the doctors in Gandhi hospital turns to be the big threat to the lives of the patients. On Thursday, Nagarjuna, an anesthetist and Ravi Babu, an Orthopedic surgeon had a scuffle between them.

The fuming doctors of anesthesia department have proscribed their duties. As it was not possible to undertake surgeries in the absence of anesthesia, all the operations theatres have been closed and the patients were brought back to the wards after the cancellation of all scheduled surgeries for the day.

The same has caused a great hassle to the patients, especially those who were required to be operated without delay. The patients showed their dissent over the very matter. The orthopedic surgeon involved in the brawl gave clarification that he just asked the other doctor to execute the duty properly, and nothing else. Whatsoever may be the case, such cold wars and tussles between the docs ultimately pose problems to the patients. People involved in such noble professions should not get engrossed in meagre clashes that may cost even a life.
