Hyderabad: Geeta Reddy, a former minister in the state cabinet has reiterated that despite so many conspiracies, Congress party would win in both regions in the looming general elections.
Geeta Reddy addressed the media on Saturday after attending a meeting at the residence of Jana Reddy, another former minister in the state cabinet. She said Congress Party will be up to the expectations of the poor and downtrodden people.
She said even in Seemandhra, there is no threat imposed to the Congress Party. She demanded for an ex-gratia for the farmers who lost their crop in the recent hailstorms. Also, she has demanded for reconstruction of the homes for those who lost their homes in the recent calamity. She said it has become fashion nowadays to float parties. She said the actual fact behind floating the new parties will be shortly revealed.
