Vijayawada: The Congress leaders on Sunday described the 2014 elections as a war between the Pandavas and the Kaurava sena, maintaining that the party would emerge victorious. N Raghuveera Reddy, APCC chief, and party election campaign committee chairman and Union Minister K Chiranjeevi and other leaders sought to blame the TDP, BJP and YSRCP for the State’s division.

They claimed that the Congress was forced to take the decision following pressure from these parties which gave support in writing Raghuveera took a dig at party seniors for leaving at a time when the cadre was fighting the election battle. Amid slogans by activists not to re-admit these leaders, Raghuveera Reddy told the aggrieved cadre that such mistakes would not be repeated.
