It's a known fact that actor-turned-politician Vijayashanti quit the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party over Medak Parliament seat.
It's a known fact that the Lok Sabha member from Medak was eyeing the Medak seat for long and had repeatedly requested her party chief to offer her the ticket. When she did not get a positive response from him, Vijayashanti openly declared that 'no power on earh' can stop her from contesting from the seat. Angered by this, KCR had no choice but tu suspended her from the party.
A sulking Vijayashanti had then joined the Congress. Now, this is a thing of the past. The latest is that KCR has decided to contest from Medak! This is not it. The buzz in the AP political circles is that KCR also warned the Congress against giving the Medak seat to Vijayashanti if the party was interested in merger talks.Now, it is clear why KCR was keen on not contesting the actor from the district.
