TDP Leaders Die in Road Mishap. Early on Thursday, a mini bus hit a lorry near Alampur X roads of Alampur mandal in Mahabubnagar district on the National Highway Road No 44. In this accident, 2 TDP leaders died on the spot while 7 other sustained severe injuries.

The victims have been rushed to nearby government hospital. Mudigallu Ramu (40), a TDP leader of Rayadurgam in Anantapur district has come to Hyderabad two days before with a demand of allocation of TDP ticket to Deepak Reddy. He was on his way back to Rayadurgam early on Thursday. A lorry coming from opposite direction punched the mini bus they were travelling by. In this accident, Tippa Swamy, another TDP leader, died on the spot, while Ramu died undergoing treatment at Kurnool hospital. 7 more injured in this incident. More details are awaited.
