Hyderabad: On Tuesday, the forest officials have seized Red Sandalwood logs worth Rs 2cr at Mungilipattu forest area of Chandragiri mandal in Chittore district. Based on imperative information received from anonymous sources, the forest officials have carried out snap check on Chadragiri-Chittore National Highway. During their snap checks, the forest officials have seized a lorry transporting the huge quantity of Red Sandalwood worth Rs 2Cr. The officials have seized as many as 163 Red Sandalwood logs including the lorry carrying the same.
