ESL Narasimhan to Be Governor of Either State. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India, has given a nod to appoint ESL Narasimhan as the common governor for either state being emerged out from Andhra Pradesh – Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Hyderabad: Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India, has given a nod to appoint ESL Narasimhan as the common governor for either state being emerged out from Andhra Pradesh – Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The appointed day for the two states will be June 2. So, the prior arrangement of the governors for either state has become crucial. There was a discussion among the members of union cabinet concerning the very matter. Finally, they have decided to appoint ESL as the governor for both the states. The same has been recommended by the Prime Minister and was sent for the approval of the President Pranab Mukherjee. The formal part of approval is yet to be finished.
From the other end, it is learnt that crucial departments will be in the hands of governor even after June 2. The Law and Order will be in his hands. Surely, the ruling government of Telangana will be opposing this matter for sundry reasons.
