OUJAC bats for KCR as CM
Hyderabad: Osmania University Joint Action Committee bats for KCR as CM, TRS chief KCR on the question of who should become the first Chief Minister of the new State of Telangana.
Hyderabad: The Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC), which played an active role in the Telangana statehood movement, has pitched support for TRS chief KCR on the question of who should become the first Chief Minister of the new State of Telangana.

In its executive meeting held here on Thursday, OUJAC adopted a resolution to this effect. Student leaders felt that KCR was the most suitable leader for the coveted CM post since he was the vanguard of the movement for well over a decade.
OUJAC also urged the new government to create one lakh jobs per year and make lifting of cases against students as top priority. It also sought cancellation of common entrance exams. The student organisation sought setting up of Telangana Public Service Commission besides a probe to unearth irregularities in Group-1 and Group-2 appointments. In view of bifurcation, AP State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) should also be split, it said.
