Naidu later told the employees leaders that he would discuss the issue in detail with them and would take up the matter with KCR as well, if need be.

Naidu is understood to have discussed the issue with Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi during his visit to New Delhi two days back. According to sources, Naidu feels that if one goes by the Pratyush Sinha formula, Andhra Pradesh will have a surplus of 14 IAS officers and the Centre plans to allocate them to the new state of Telangana. Naidu feels that no officer should be sent to T State against his will. If T state has shortage of officers, then the Centre could send officers from other states, Naidu is understood to have suggested. Naidu is also said to have told Modi that Andhra Pradesh requires the services of all senior IAS officers as massive developmental projects are to be launched. It now remains to be seen how the Centre would handle the issue.
