TRS unveils big plans for June 2

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has decided to hold State Formation Day celebrations on a grand scale in 10 districts on June 2, when the 29th State formally comes into existence. The pink party would hold these celebrations at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad soon after its chief K Chandrasekhar Rao takes oath as the Chief Minister. Tableux of various government departments, and march-past by security personnel from various departments and NSS cadets would be an added attraction.

Meanwhile, the city would turn into a pink fortress on the eve of formation day and KCR’s swearing-in programme. The party leadership had issued instructions to cadre to this effect. Telangana CM-designate’s cut-outs would be erected at various places in the State capital. The party had hired around 500 advertisement hoardings at key junctions to convey greetings to Rao as well as people of Telangana on June 2. Also, to ensure that city was draped in pink colour on the special day, TRS gave orders for printing of 50,000 special advertisements. These would be displayed at every nook and corner of the region on that day. City leaders were told to hoist tricolor and party flags in each basti in city at 10 am and later hold rallies to celebrate the occasion. After taking part in State Formation Day celebrations, Telangana Chief Minister will proceed to Secretariat to assume charge at 12.57 pm. Meanwhile, TRS has decided to participate in TJAC’s celebrations that would kick off from the evening of June 1.
