Hyderabad: Early on Thursday, Chandrababu Naidu visited lord Venkateswara’s temple at Tirumala in Tirupathi and had darshan. Naidu got elected as the TDLP leader, a formal procedure before swearing-in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on Wednesday night. In this milieu, Naidu had Swamy Darshan; and he offered special prayers also. He was accompanied by most of the elected MLAs of TDP. From the other end, Balakrishna, MLA of Hindupur constituency, took part in Tiruppavada seva at Tirumala.

Later, Naidu addressed the media and said that all problems being faced by Tirumala would be addressed to make Tirumala sanctified. Further, Naidu said that there should be only the chanting of Govinda in Tirumala and nothing else. With the mighty blessings of the Almighty, said Naidu that he would ensure a corruption free administration that too without poverty in the state.

Naidu said that he would ensure that the devotees would not face difficulties at Tirumala while stating that pilgrims from around the world visit Tirumala. He said a plan would be chalked out on short term and long term basis to ensure the devotees to get all sort of facilities. He said Chittoor district has been famous for temples and said that he would ensure the district would be turned into a tourist place. He said for the medical facilities of the devotees, TDP government in the past had brought out the scheme in the name of Pranadana Patakam and Naidu said that the same would be enhanced further.​
