Hyderabad: M Venakaiah Naidu, the Union Minister for Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs, on Saturday addressed the party cadre and reiterated that Andhra Pradesh would get a special sop. He arrived at Vijayawada for the first time after he assumed the charges of the Union Minister and was given a grand welcome by the Party leaders.
He addressed the meeting and said that the leaders should become one among the people to strive hard for the welfare of the people. He was felicitated by the party leaders, before that. He said that he would strive for the betterment of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and said that the centre would do its best for the development of both the states.
It is worth mentioning here that Venkaiah Naiduhas reached Gannavaram early on Saturday. He was given a grand welcome by the BJP and TDP leaders at the airport. Venkaiah Naidu would be attending the swearing-in ceremony of Chandrababu Naidu, scheduled at 7.27 p.m. on Sunday.
