Shimla: The rescue team has been undertaking the intensive search operations at Beas River to trace out the remaining 16 missing students. Even after the 6th day after the mishap occurrence, only 8 dead bodies could have been traced out, so far. Despite the fact that NDRF, ITBP, NNB and other allied agencies have been putting up their endless efforts, only 1/3 rd dead bodies of the missing students’ could have been traced out.
The use of Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) also didn’t prove effective. Nevertheless, the hopes are on a rise for the water gateway has been decided to stop for approximately an hour on Saturday. The Beas River across 14km range would be covered fully during the Saturday operations, added sources.
