Visakhapatnam: Chemical reactor bursts at Glowchem Pharma Factory

Hyderabad: On Saturday morning, even before the people have come out from the shocking incident of GAIL pipeline, a chemical reactor burst out at Glowchem Pharma Factory located at Paravada in the outskirts of Visakhapatnam. At least 15 employees working in the factory at that time of incident have sustained stern injuries. The victims have been rushed to a hospital in Gajuwaka. The factory management rushed the spot immediately and have let known the details from the eye witnesses. The police have also rushed the spot within no time and registered a case. They have been investigating the matter. More details are awaited.

It is worth recollecting the incident that happened on June 16, at SMS-2 division of Visakha Steel Plant, wherein two engineers died in a tragic incident. The engineers were in the regular process of checking the material inside a lab container. It was learnt that the Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas was released all of sudden and the deceased could not have a proper breath, leaving for their ultimate death. The deceased were identified as Anuj (30) and Rajnish (35).While Anuj hails originally from Chennai, Rajnish hails from Uttar Pradesh, added sources. At the location of their death fire also broke out.
