Hyderabad: KE Krishna Murthy, one of the two Deputy Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, on Wednesday said that there was no clarity sought so far on the matter of Andhra Pradesh capital. He said that a new place for the new capital city comes on the screen every day. Nevertheless, said KE that there was reasonably good quantity of land available at many places, but the same was not sufficiently large.
He said that the land acquisition has become a great problem for them. He said that there was a proposal to acquire the land in the ratio of 55:45 between the government and the farmers. He also said that they were planning to develop as many as 7 smart cities apart from developing the new capital city. Further, he said that the income from registrations has hugely come down in Andhra Pradesh state. He said that the lands will be turned into the sources of income for the state government while formulating the schemes that are beneficial to the people.
