Visakhapatnam: MVS Sarma, MLC, said the State Budget introduced on Wednesday won’t benefit north Andhra.
Sarma, who represents the Graduates Constituency comprising Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam, noted that despite declaring tall targets of IT development, only Rs.111 crore was allocated. Also, it was unfortunate that there was no mention of captive mines allotment for VSP or setting up of any ancillary unit.
‘The fund allocation for development of universities in this region has disappointed us. There was absolutely no mention of recruitments through APPSC,’ he noted.
