Renigunta: 35 Bangladeshi nationals arrested

The local police have arrested as many as 35 Bangladeshis at Renigunta Railway station in Chittoor district. They were held while they were on their way to Bengaluru by Howra Express. They could not produce proper evidence, apart from giving irrelevant answers. More details in the matter are awaited.

It has become a cause of concern that many of the Bangladeshis have been entering into India illegally. Also, there are reports of Pakistanis entering India through the gateway of Bengal. At this juncture, there has been a need to curb such illegal infiltrations into the country.
