Politicians Lobbying for TTD Posts

The post of TTD Trust Board members in Andhra Pradesh has become a musical chair contest between TDP and BJP members.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu is preparing to appoint a few members to the posts. Considering the party has an alliance with BJP, a few members from that party too could be appointed.

While a few MPs have set their eyes on the post of TTD Chairman, several senior politicians are also strongly lobbying with AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for a berth on the board.

As per reports, Former Tirupati MLA Chadalawada Krishna Murthy is likely to bag the prestigious post of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman.

State BJP spokesperson G. Bhanuprakash Reddy, who is close to Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu, is likely to be appointed as a member of the TTD board.Dr.P.Hariprasad, a close associate of actor Pawan Kalyan, is also trying to get the membership of the TTD board.

TDP sources say that TTD posts have been confirmed for film director K.Raghavendra Rao and former TTD JEO P.Balasubramanyam.

It is also being heard that the present TTD Chairman Kanumuri Bapiraju is requesting the chief minister to permit him to complete his full term.

Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, who has an eye on the post for a longtime, is also lobbying hard for the post. Former minister Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu is trying to lay his hands on the top post.
