AP Ministers keen on capital between Vijayawada-Guntur

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao said there is no confusion in the state regarding the capital. Speaking in AP Assembly lobby Pulla Rao said despite SivaramaKrishnan committee report, the capital will be established in between Vijayawada - Guntur cities. He also said that CM Chandrababu Naidu is clear about the new capital formation, and requested his colleagues not to make diverse statements

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu will brood over the SivaramaKrishnan committee report. The report suggests that there are agriculture lands between Vijayawada – Guntur and rather suggested the capital to be between Martur-Vinukonda. However, the Guntur ministers have expressed serious protest on this report

This triggered a discussion in the AP lobby where Yanamala Ramakrishnudu went ahead and said it would be difficult if Vinukonda is chosen and should look for alternative preferences for Donakonada. Minister Narayana further added that priority would be given to the state government’s choice despite the report. While the discussion continues in the lobby, every citizen is equally excited about the decision
