He sermonised the YSR Congress Party MLAs to not get trapped in the Congress Party’s net.

Naidu addressed the assembly and reminded of Narendra Modi’s talks with him to identify the model for the new capital city. He said that a committee was appointed to find out the best place that could cater for the economical development of the state. He asked the opposition party leaders to project their opinions as part of the discussions.

It is evident that the much awaited auspicious time for Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has just come. As envisaged by almost everyone, the capital will be set up near Vijayawada-Guntur, as declared by none other than the Chief Minister himself.
In fact Chandra Babu Naidu’s idea of having a state capital near Vijayawada has a very deep thought process involved. Despite it is a valid point that the land acquisition is going to cost more in this area, government will be saving a lot of money in creating infrastructure and connectivity to the capital since both Vijayawada and Guntur are already well connected and developed.
