Vijayawada: Finally, the agreement all the people of Andhra Pradesh waiting for is made. The agreement for the 24-hour power supply is signed between the central and the state government. The non-stop current will supplied to the state of Andhra Pradesh from 2nd of October . The documents signed by central minister Piyush Goyal were given to chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandra Babu Naidu.

“Chandrababu Naidu is an able and intellectual leader. He takes some fearless decisions. The young state of Andhra Pradesh requires his ideas and leadership,” said the Central minister Goyal.
As a part of the agreement, 2500 mega watt solar power plant was allotted to Andhra Pradesh. The power plant is agreed to be constructed in Rayalaseema region. A memorandum of Agreement (MOU) was made between the two parties for the 4000 megawatts power project in Vishakapatnam.
Speaking on the issue AP Chief Minister N.Chandra Babu Naidu said, “Goyal played a very vital role in implementing this 24* 7 power supply .Development of a state is always depends on Power supply. Continuous power supply will definitely bring new industries and investors to Andhra Pradesh. The solar power plant would be completed as soon as possible. I am happy that the project was allocated to back ward region like Rayalaseema.”
