The heavy inflows in Kurnool, Guntur and Nalgonda districts have resulted in considerable reduction in the demand for power.



The Telangana government as a response to the request made by the Krishna Delta System chief engineer and has stopped utilizing water for power generation in Nagarjunasagar dam.

The Telangana government has almost stopped power generation from Srisailam except running the units to produce a small quantity of power for grid maintenance.
